2024 Internship Program

SA WORX builds a diverse future workforce by hosting our annual Summer Internship Program.

Your organization can host interns either on-site or virtually for 6 weeks. SA WORX will connect you with interns through our online jobs platform. With a predetermined online professional development curriculum, employer mentors and supervisors will guide interns as they earn digital badges for their professional achievements.

Getting Started

Employer Checklist

Identify projects and departments where interns can work and provide meaningful support.
Create intern position description.
Determine hourly pay and duration of internships.
Visit greatersatx.com and register your organization through the Internship Matching Portal.
Use the portal to post your internship positions, review, and manage candidate resumes.
Review applications, set up interviews, and hire your interns.
SA WORX manages the student on-boarding and provides ongoing professional development throughout the summer.

High school students and graduating seniors, 16-19 years old by June 1, 2024.

SA WORX recommends a minimum pay of $11.50 per hour.

Our staffing partner can help employers manage intern payroll, as needed.
