SATX360 Newsletter | Greater 2023
This time of year, I can’t help but be grateful. I’m grateful for our investors who fuel our mission. I’m grateful for our team that make our strategy a reality. And while we pause to be grateful, I can’t help but look forward to an even greater year on our horizon.
This year, we reintroduced our monthly newsletter to give you a 360-degree view of what’s happening in the Greater San Antonio region, including greater:SATX project announcements, updates from our regional partner communities, spotlights from key investors, notable news stories, and much more. Each month, I shared updates on major initiatives from our organization like launching the San Antonio region’s first air service development fund and our Alamo Fellows talent retention program.
Operationally, we’ve also added talented and diverse new team members at greater:SATX, announced 18 major project wins that collectively added thousands of new jobs, and we have a few more planned announcements before the year’s end. 2022 was a great year for the SATX region and I’m proud of the foundational progress we’ve made.
We undertook a major fundraising effort, asking businesses and economic development partners from across the region to go All In on our strategy. To date, we are 95% to our fundraising goal and we fully expect to surpass 100% before the year’s end. Thank you to our investors who went All In this year. We cannot do this work without their support.
I look forward to sharing more of what’s to come in 2023 in our next newsletter. Until then, cheers to an even greater 2023.
