We sat down with Go Medina’s Executive Director, Stephanie Blanks, to find out more about this community.

What makes Medina County unique?
We are a rural community comprised of 6 cities, which are all very different but work together to achieve more for our County.
How has your organization shifted since the start of the covid-19 pandemic?
I came on board in February 2020, and then, of course, the pandemic hit the following month. I concentrated my efforts on updating our website, social media platforms, and marketing materials. Even though in-person meetings and site visits weren’t occurring, I wanted prospects to have a better picture of Medina County. I also focused on promoting our local businesses by highlighting them in social media videos and initiating the Best of Medina County contest.
What makes your community a great place for people & jobs?

We have beautiful parks, rivers, lakes, and ranches that are perfect for outdoor fun. We have 7 excellent school districts, as well as private schools, to choose from.
